DRAFT — PENDING ATTORNEY REVIEW. This is not legal advice. This page covers consent for a telehealth GLP-1 prescribing and weight-management program. This text is scaffolding only and should be reviewed and finalized by an attorney, and ideally a clinician, before any real user sees it.

1. What LighterMe Is and Is Not

LighterMe connects you with independently licensed clinicians, retained through a contracted clinical partner, who assess whether a GLP-1 medication is appropriate for you, prescribe if appropriate, and provide ongoing care through the app. LighterMe is not an emergency service. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

2. Assessment and Prescribing

Your initial assessment and any follow-up review are performed by a licensed clinician, not automatically approved. The clinician decides whether to prescribe, which medication, and at what starting dose, based on the health history and goals you provide. You should answer intake and check-in questions accurately and completely — care decisions depend on it.

3. Medication, Dispensing, and Cost

If prescribed, your medication is dispensed by a partner pharmacy (currently LillyDirect or NovoCare), not by LighterMe. You pay the pharmacy directly, at the manufacturer's published self-pay price for your prescribed dose; LighterMe does not bill you for medication or mark up its price. LighterMe prescribes only FDA-approved medications and does not use compounded GLP-1s. As with any prescription medication, GLP-1 therapy carries possible side effects and risks, which your clinician will discuss with you — follow your clinician's guidance on dosing and report side effects to your care team rather than adjusting your dose on your own.

4. Membership vs. Medical Care

Your monthly membership fee pays for the LighterMe program — clinical review, messaging, check-ins, and tracking. It is separate from, and does not include, the cost of any medication, which you pay to the pharmacy directly.

5. Messaging With Your Care Team

Messaging is for non-urgent questions and routine follow-up; it is not a substitute for emergency care, and response times are not immediate. Do not use in-app messaging for anything requiring urgent attention — in an emergency, call 911.

6. Voluntary Participation

Participation in the LighterMe program is voluntary. You may stop treatment or cancel your membership at any time; see the Terms of Service for how cancellation works.

7. Acknowledgment

By proceeding with your assessment, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Informed Consent. A dated record of your consent, and the version of this text you consented to, is kept with your account.
