Terms of Service
Draft — last updated October 9, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using LighterMe ("the Service"), operated by Lipra Health ("Lipra Health," "we," "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
The Service is intended for users 21 years of age or older, located in a state where the Service is offered. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. What the Service Is
LighterMe is a telehealth program for GLP-1 weight management: an online intake and clinical review, ongoing messaging and check-ins with your care team, and tools to track your dose, weight, and progress. Clinical services — assessment, prescribing, and ongoing care — are provided by independently licensed clinicians retained through a contracted clinical partner, not by Lipra Health directly.
The Service is not a substitute for emergency care. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room — do not wait for a response in the app.
4. Membership Fee and Billing
The program membership fee is billed monthly in-app to the payment method you provide and renews automatically each month until you cancel. Our first 100 members pay $149/month, locked for their first 12 months; after that, or for members who join after the first 100, the fee is $199/month. We will give you advance notice before any such price step-up takes effect on your account. The membership fee covers the program only — clinical review, messaging, check-ins, and tracking — and does not include the cost of any medication.
5. Medication
If your clinician prescribes a GLP-1 medication, the prescription is routed to a partner pharmacy (currently LillyDirect or NovoCare). You pay the pharmacy directly, at the manufacturer's published self-pay price — Lipra Health does not bill you for medication, mark up its price, or take a share of that payment. We prescribe only FDA-approved medications and never use compounded GLP-1s.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel your membership at any time from your profile. Cancelling stops future renewal; you keep access through the end of the period you've already paid for. Cancelling your membership does not cancel or affect your separate relationship with the dispensing pharmacy for any medication already prescribed — manage that directly with the pharmacy.
7. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
8. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how your health and personal information is collected, used, and protected.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lipra Health's liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the membership fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim arose. Lipra Health is not liable for the acts or omissions of independently licensed clinicians, the clinical partner, or any pharmacy that dispenses your medication. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where the law does not allow it.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
